Donnie Carol Moore, age 79 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on April 22, 2024. Donnie was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, and was, in the words of his great grandson, a really cool dude.
Donnie was born on February 27, 1945 in Madison Indiana. He was born to Ambrose Moore Jr. and India (Washburn) Sarles. He retired from Ford motor company after 31 years of service and was an avid reader. He was a member of English Christian Church.
Donnie was preceded in death by both parents Ambrose Moore and India Sarles.
Donnie is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Katherine Moore; his children, Ron Kyle (Sharon), Rhonda Pendleton (David), Ginger Rosenbury (Rick), and Donnie Dwayne Moore; he was a proud Grandpa to 8 grandchildren, Jonathon, Dallas, Candice, Kathryn, Cathi, Danielle, Cameron and Destiny; 6 great grandchildren, Natalie, Vincent (Tres), Braxton, Graydon, Juliette, and Kaeli; he is also survived by two brothers, Bruce Moore (Vicki), Dwight Moore (Dana); as well as various nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
Services will be private.
