Donna Kay Strader

Donna Kay Strader, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022. Donna enjoyed taking care of her family and especially her grandchildren and helped raise her nieces. She liked playing the Kentucky Lottery, her Elvis Music, and cold Coca-Cola. Donna was chef and enjoyed cooking and worked at a variety of establishments around the Louisville area. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was born on March 30, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Mary (Lewis) Lewis. She is preceded in death by her Daughter, Christy Strader, Parents, Grandson, Austin Troxell, Uncle, Rod Spalding, Brother, Terry Lewis, Nephew, Tommy Lewis, Niece, Dawn Lewis, and Sister-in-Law, Terry Lynn Lewis.

Donna is survived by her Daughter, Kim Strader, Son, Roy Strader, Grandchildren, Brendan (Talen) Troxell, Kacie (Joel)Studebaker, Peyton Moore, Colton Snepp, Madison Snepp, Aaliyah Strader, and Royson Strader, Great Grandchildren, Ben, Wyatt, Nolan, Elijah, Skylah, Ryder, and Chance, Nieces, Miranda, Candace, Mariah, and Mary, Nephews, Joseph, and Rod, Sisters, Cindy Heil, and Linda Lewis, Brother, David Lewis. Donna also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Friends and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, January 2, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery.
