Donna R.(Staser) Blankenbaker

Donna R. (Staser) Blankenbaker, 46, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at her residence. Donna repaired and refinished furniture for Kimball and Steepleton's and worked at American Legion and the 40 & 8 Military Club.

Donna was born on July 31, 1964 to Jacqueline "Jackie" (French) Staser of Clarksville, Indiana and the late Ervin Louis Staser. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Keith Staser.

In addition to her mother, Donna is survived by her fiancé, Tim Sherwood; daughters, Andrea Smith and her husband, Christopher of Sellersburg, Indiana, Angela White and her husband, Matthew of Seymour, Indiana; son, Travis Cox of Sellersburg; brothers, Kenny Staser of Georgetown, Indiana, Mark Staser of Borden, Indiana, and Mike Staser and his wife, Christie of Philpott, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Daniel, Synphanie, and Dylan; and many nieces and nephews.

The Visitation will be 4 – 8 PM Wednesday, August 18 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home (formerly Generations Funeral Home), 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana. The Funeral Service will be 10 AM Thursday, August 19, 2010 in the Paul F. Kraft, Sr. Memorial Chapel at Newcomer Funeral Home followed by burial at Abundant Life Cemetery in New Albany.
