Donna Kemp Quiggins

Donna Kemp Quiggins, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024.

She was born on July 13, 1946 in San Diego, California to the late Robert and Edna (Adkinson) Kemp. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Quiggins , Jr., son, Timmy Quiggins, and granddaughter, Cheyenne Armbrister.

Donna was a loving wife, mom, grandma and great grandma. Ever since she was a young girl she said her wish in life was to be a mother and grandmother. That wish was fulfilled when she was blessed with her 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was such a proud Nana and Gigi; especially when it came to her grandsons in the Marine Corps. Donna worked for General Electric and retired from the Jefferson County School System. In her spare time she was active in the Native American Community, enjoyed traveling and of course loved spending time with her family and her 2 dogs.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Marie (Phil) Duckett, son, Robert (Susan) Quiggins, grandchildren, Cori Quiggins, Austin Quiggins, Dustin Quiggins, Abigail Quiggins, Kayla (Cory) Perronie and Briar Quiggins, great grandchildren, Willow Quiggins, Bentley Quiggins, Aubree Perronie and Archer Ray Quiggins, along with her special friend, Dave Gentry and her 2 dogs, Sissy Dorthea and Mousey.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 1st at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 2nd at the funeral home.
