Donna Powers

Donna Powers, aged 69, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on February 8, 2025. An affectionate mother sister, aunt, and friend, Donna touched the lives of many with her kindness and warmth.

Born on November 17, 1955, in Louisville, she was the beloved daughter of George and Lorene (Hatcher) Hendrickson. She is preceded in death by both her parents, George and Lorene Hendrickson.

Donna was known for her passion for sewing, her love of pets, and her joy in gardening. She found happiness in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was tending to her plants, cooking, or enjoying a shopping trip. A devoted member of Southeast Christian Church's Southwest location, she embraced her faith and community with open arms.

She is survived by her cherished children, Kelly M. Powers and Dustin W. Powers; her loving siblings, Sherry Kerr, Jerry Hendrickson, Steve Hendrickson, Kathy Hendrickson, Jimmy (Laura) Hendrickson, Cerena Lumley, and Troy Hendrickson; and her beloved pets, Cash and Lexus. Additionally, she leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever treasure her memory.
