Donna Marie Montgomery

Donna Marie Montgomery, 84, of Valley Station, KY passed away on June 27, 2019. She was a member and devoted bible teacher at Valley View Baptist Church and was raised in southern California and graduated from St. Monica Catholic High School in 1953. Donna moved to Kentucky after her marriage in 1955, to Donald L. Montgomery. Since childhood she enjoyed collecting purple cow collectibles. Donna was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. Her home was a place of community for family, friends and guests. Donna met no strangers, she enjoyed meeting new people and sharing her faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Montgomery.

Donna is survived by her children, Stephen Montgomery, Cynthia Jamison, Bonnie Epperson, Debra Streble, Robert Montgomery and Kelly Montgomery; 22 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and her brother, Adrian Popa.

Visitation will be Monday, July 1, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 4pm-8pm. A celebration of Donna's life will be Tuesday, July 2, 2019, beginning at 11am at the chapel of the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Beth Haven Cemetery, 9020 Stone Street, Louisville, KY.
