Donna Mardis

Donna Sue Mardis, 49, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Rolling Hills Health Care Center. She was a member of the Northside Christian Church in New Albany, Indiana.

Donna was born on November 15, 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William R. and Emma L. (Atkisson) Mardis. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Robert Mardis and her infant twin brothers, Ronnie & Donnie Mardis.

She is survived by her sister, Beverly Collins (Robert) of Jeffersonville, Indiana; her brothers, Eddie Mardis (Kathy) of Louisville, Kentucky; Raymond Mardis (Bobbi) of Floyds Knobs, Indiana; and Larry Mardis of Jeffersonville, Indiana; 4 nieces, 3 nephews, and 3 great-nieces.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Monday, March 14, 2011, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Tuesday in the Paul F. Kraft, Sr. Memorial Chapel at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at a later date.
