Donna J. Baisden

Donna J. Baisden, 54, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at her residence. She was a member of the Salvation Army in New Albany. Donna enjoyed nature, spending time outdoors, and camping. She loved life and lived for her family.

Donna was born on March 25, 1956 to Janet Loraine (Blevins) Baisden of Columbus, Ohio and the late Harold Dowe Baisden. She is also predeceased by her sister, Patricia Baisden.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her life partner, Robert Hopper of Louisville; sons, Jeremy D. McQuirt, Sr., and his wife, Lisa of Charlestown, Indiana, Joseph A., Sr. (Teara), and Jaimen Michael McQuirt (Heather), all of New Albany, Indiana; grandchildren, Destiny, Breanna, Tyra, Azaria, Quentin, Peyton, Joseph, Jr., Alexis, Jeremy, Jr., Jordon, Josilyne, and Jean; brothers, David, Gary, and Richard Baisden, all of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Mary Louise Hanes of Columbus, Ohio and Gwen Baisden of California; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM Wednesday, July 14, 2010 and from 11 AM to 1 PM on Thursday at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southern Indiana (formerly Generations Funeral Home, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN). A procession for the Graveside Service will leave the funeral home at 1 PM on Thursday to Bowery Cemetery in Memphis, Indiana.
