Donna Marie Harper-Eddins

Donna Marie Harper-Eddins, 57, of Louisville, KY, returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. Donna was a member of St. Stephen Baptist Church and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Donna was an amazing woman full of life. She enjoyed life and loved to cook. She traveled for fun and hosted many family/friend gatherings. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and wonderful grandmother to her grandchildren.

Donna wore many hats, but her most memorable ones were Olan Mills Portrait Studios, St. Judes Childrens', and Mary Kay representative. She also helped out at the family business D & D Dispensary, as well as, worked with her mother on several catering ventures. She has a host of friends that loved her and came by to spend time with her in sickness and in health. She will be sorely missed and always remembered.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Doris and Donald Horsley and brother, DeJuan Horsley.

Donna is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Derrick Eddins, children, Shamenda (Karl) Livingstone, Gary Harper, Jr. and Dericka Eddins; sibilings, Marjorie Horsley, James Horsley, Lavella (Derek) Harris and Willa (Jamie) Brewer; grandchildren, Kinjay, Kaylin Livingstone, Cameron Parker and Camry Parker and a loving caregiver, Julia Carter and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, February 24, 2017, at St. Stephen Baptist Church (1018 S. 15th Street, Louisville, KY) from 5pm-8pm. A celebration of Donna's life will be Saturday, February 25, 2017, at St. Stephen Baptist Church beginning at 2pm.

Burial will follow at Green Meadows Cemetery, 3800 Shanks Lane, Louisville, KY.
