Donald Wayne Broughton, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.
He was born on November 8, 1954 in Berea, Kentucky to Millard and Helen (Montgomery) Broughton. He was retired from Misa Metal Fabrication in Louisville.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Millard Broughton, Jr. and Helen Jean Broughton; and brother, Lonnie Ray Broughton.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Doris F. Broughton; daughters, Shannon Broughton and Stacey Urban (Ian); grandsons, his pride and joy, Mason and Isaac Urban, and loving granddaughter, Payton Kesler; siblings, Rickie Broughton (Lorraine), Roxaine Hill (Marty), and Vicki Wilkins (Kenny); sister-in-law, Paula Broughton; a loving host of nieces and nephews; and lots of dear friends.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions-East Louisville Chapel, (235 Juneau Dr.). His Funeral Service will be at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, at the funeral home with cremation services to follow.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Wayne's memory be made to JDRF in honor of his grandson, Mason.
