Donald V. Richardson

Donald V. Richardson, age 95 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014. He was a former resident of the Plantation neighborhood. He was a WWII Army Veteran, a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church, a Mason and member of Boaz Lodge #850 F&AM. He was formerly employed as a Federal Civil Service servant including the FAA, and was assistant manager with the Alpha Theatres. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Meinert Richardson.

Mr. Richardson is survived by his daughter, Susan Nichols (Bill); son, Donald Joseph Richardson; grandson, Geoffrey J. Nichols; dear and close friend, Geneva Hawkins; and friends from Brownsboro Park and Meadowview Health and Rehab.

Funeral ceremony will be 11am Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8pm Tuesday.

The family would like to thank the staff at Brownsboro Park, Meadowview and Norton Suburban Hospital for their kind and compassionate care of our father.
