Donald Seiler, 85, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023. He retired after 37 years at Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was an avid golfer and was a proud member of the Wooded View Country Club. Donald enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, watching TV, sports, movies, and spending time with his family.

He was born on July 26, 1938, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Robert and Jane (Hampton) Seiler. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kasandra Renee Daily; and brother, William Seiler.

Donald is survived by his loving wife, Linda Seiler; four children, Bobbie (Michael) Richmer, Connie Lynn (William) Stepp, Scott (Leigh) Seiler, and Glen Seiler; two grandsons, Matthew (Sammi) Richmer and Chris Daily; five great grandchildren, Joslyn, Jenna, Jacalyn, Violet, and Scarlet; three siblings, Judy Randall, Jimmy (Marilyn) Seiler, and Peggy Renn; and sister in law, Lorie Seiler.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150).

The family requests that contributions in Donald's memory be made to American Cancer Association.
