Donald Wayne Schroeder, 64, of Louisville, Ky, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022.
Wayne was born to Donald Schroeder, an Army veteran and electronics instructor, and his wife Betty, a hospital supervisor and nurse.
After honorably serving his country in the U. S. Army, Wayne worked at Mother's Cookies (Keebler), for over 30 years.
Wayne was predeceased in death by his parents, brothers (Radford Lyles, Melvin Schroeder, Stephen Schroeder), and extended family Jeffrey Green.
Wayne is survived by his lifelong love, Tonia, his devoted niece Shannon (David), his nephew Jeremy (Lisa), and ten great-nieces and nephews. His adopted family included Pam (David), Betty, Sandie (Eric), Susan (Bill), Brandy, Kristy, Jessica, Jeffrey (Britney), William (Jasmine), Kimberly (Brandy), and eight great-grandchildren.
A Committal Service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky.
