Donald Anthony Rue Sr., 86, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023.
He was born on June 22, 1937 in Floyds Knobs, Indiana to the late Alvis Rue Sr. and Pauline Meyer Rue. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his 8 brothers and sisters.
Don is survived by his loving wife of nearly 63 years, Maureen Rue; son, Donald A. Rue, Jr.; daughter, Carol "Susie" Mobley; grandchildren, Tanner Austin Mobley and Amy Nicole Mobley; and sisters, Charlene Rose, Dorothy Fordyce and Janet Creech.
Cremation was chosen following Don's wishes and a Private Memorial Service will be held.
Memorial Contributions in Don's memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association (6100 Dutchmans Ln # 401, Louisville, KY 40205).
