Donald Ray Robinson

January 14, 1945 — February 1, 2018

Donald Ray Robinson, age 73 of Louisville, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018. Don was Captain of the Louisville Fire Department for over 25 years. He was a member of the Kentucky Federation of Firefighters. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lucille Robinson; and several brothers and a sister.

Don is survived by his loving wife and companion of over 32 years, Betty; daughters, Dana Robinson, Patricia Robinson; grandchildren, Jeremy Robinson, Justin Robinson, Michael Thomas and Ashley Robinson; great-grandchildren, Chase Robinson, Jayden Robinson and Kaitlyn Thomas; sisters, Faye Robinson and Ann Warren; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 11am-1pm Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. A celebration of Don's life will follow at 1pm at the funeral home.
