Donald Ray Smith

Mr. Donald Ray Smith, Jr., age 38 of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2011. He was an electrician with the Louisville Medical Center Steam and Cold Water Plant. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy L. and Dorothy Smith of South Lyon, Michigan and Elder Dan and Bertha Adkins of Huddy, Kentucky.

Donnie is survived by his parents, Don and Karol Adkins Smith; uncles Harold Adkins (Charlene), Alvis Adkins all of Louisville and Harry Dillender of Houston, Tx.; aunts, Jean Browning (Roy), Carol Adkins both of Louisville; aunt and godmother, Jackie Pearson of Houston, Tx.; Uncle, Robert Smith (Betty) of So. Lyon,MI. cousins, Cliff Browning, Detra Lyons, Debra Jesse, Sabrina Sanders and Brad Adkins all of Louisville, Glen and Bruce Dillender of Houston, Tx., Steven, Janice and Randy Stanaland all of Florida.Robert Smith Jr.,Michelle Smith, and Brian W. Smith all of So. Lyon, MI.

Funeral ceremony will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 29th at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with visitation there from noon until time of service. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 30th at Mountain View Memory Gardens in Huddy, Ky. Memorials may be made to KODA.
