Donald Ray Perkins

Donald Ray Perkins, age 65 of Fisherville, went home to be with his Saviour on Thursday, August 23, 2012. He was an Air Force Veteran and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was preceded in death by his father Frank Dalton Perkins; mother and step-father, Odell Harned Blair and Vennie Blair, Jr.

Donald is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, the former Barbara Baker; children, Angela Perkins Morrow, Brian Perkins (Lauren), Sarah Perkins Kimura (David); grandchildren, R.J. and William Morrow and their father, Robert Morrow, Sr., and Hudsyn Perkins; step-mother, Margaret Perkins; brothers, Michael Blair, Mickey Perkins (Bonita); sisters, Brenda Wampler (Tom), Linda Brooks (Gary), Leisa Burgin (Bob), Kimberly Bennett; aunt, Wilma Ganote; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral ceremony will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 3 – 8:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday.
