Donald R. "Donnie" Jackson, 53, of Clarksville, Indiana, died on Monday, February 3, 2014 after battling a life-long illness. He was a Catholic by faith.
Donnie was born on September 7, 1960 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He is survived by members of the Jackson and McClure families, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Trevis Jackson.
A Memorial Visitation will be from 4 PM to 7 PM on Monday, February 10, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a Memorial Service being held at 5 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Hospital and the St. Mary's Foundation Heart Transplant Program (200 Abraham Flexner Way, Louisville, KY 40202).
