Donald R. Houser, Jr., age 46 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013. He was the host of Donnie's Bank Fishin' Show for over 16 years. He volunteered with Camp Heart-to-Heart and was a member of Middletown Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald R. Houser, Sr.
Donnie is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Kimberly Cardwell Houser; mother, Linda F. Houser; sister, Rose Mary Houser-Picazo; niece, Emilia Ann Picazo; brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Jami Cardwell; nephew, Lyle B. Cardwell; uncle, Marty Vaughn; mother and father-in-law, Ronnie and Norma Cardwell; and numerous family and friends.
A memorial celebration of Donnie's life will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, with visitation starting at 11a.m. Memorials may be made to Camp Heart-to-Heart, the American Diabetes Association or the Kentucky Humane Society.
