Donald Lee Norris

Donald Lee "Duck" Norris, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022. Donald was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a long time member and deacon of Southern Star Missionary Church and was apart of Israel Brotherhood singing group. He was an avid UofL fan, jack of all trades, and loved working in his yard. He was employed by Kelly Construction.

He was born on July 19, 1946 in New Albany, Indiana to William and Mary (Wilkerson) Norris. He is preceded in death by his Father, William Norris, Mother, Mary Jane Tolbert, and Brother, Robert "Mumbo" Ratliff.

Donald is survived by his loving Wife of 16 years, Nora A. H.H.-Norris; Daughters, Nicole (Todrick) Murphy, Tynisha (Anthony) Atkinson, De'Inez "Dede" Payton, Danyahl Lewis, and Conswella (DeWan) Hamblen; 17 Grandchildren; Siblings, John (Pam) Tolbert, Pamela Bowman, Monica Tolbert, Diane Williams, Ronald (Annette) Tolbert, and Stephanie Tolbert, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Southern Star Missionary Baptist Church, (2304 Algonquin Parkway Louisville, KY 40210). His Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, at Southern Star Missionary Baptist Church (2304 Algonquin Parkway Louisville, KY 40210) with burial to follow at West Haven Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.
