Donald Nelson Tyree, 62, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2013.
Don was born June 4, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was inducted in to the United States Army where he served in the Vietnam War. Tyree loved spending time with his family at get-togethers and also enjoyed fishing. He was an avid sports fan who loved the Louisville Cardinals.
Tyree is survived by his wife, Lula Tyree; children, Chelsea, Krystal, & Donita Tyree; step-children, Michael Woodard & Latosha King (Anthony); sister, Paula Green (Clay); 11 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Rev. Joseph Donald Tyree; mother, Fannie (Morton) Tyree; brother, Joseph Tyree.
Cremation was chosen following Tyree's wishes. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
