Donald Mobley

Donald Mobley, 81, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023. Donald was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Donald had a strong faith and was a very religious man. He had a strong work ethic and retired from the naval ordinance. Donald enjoyed spending time in his garage tinkering, watching old Westerns and game shows and really loved fishing. Most importantly, Donald was a family man and loved making memories with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on September 14, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky to Ercel and Madelle (Tishendorf) Mobley. He is preceded in death by his mother, Madelle Mobley; father, Ercel Mobley; and daughter, Shirley Ann Mobley.

Donald is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Deanna Mobley; daughter, Teresa Morgan; son, Donald Keith Mobley; sister, Alice Turner; brothers, Ronald (Linda) Mobley, Steve Mobley; grandchildren, Kira Morgan, Jessica Morgan; great-grandson, Callum Dunstan; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. His Funeral Service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky.
