Donald Miller Thurman

Donald M. Thurman, age 81 of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 8, 2015. He was a faithful Christian, husband, father and grandfather. Don was an Air Force Veteran and retired from the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller. He was a member of Encounter Church and previously Little Flock Baptist Church.

Don leaves to cherish his memory of 60 years, his loving wife, Linda; sons, Donald Ray Thurman (Cathy), John Alan Thurman (Lisa); three loving grandchildren, Sara Elizabeth, Tyler Alan and Jesse Miller; sisters, Doris Chaffin and Carol Sue Thurman; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 2-8pm Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. Funeral ceremony will be 11am Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
