Donald L. Lynch, 73, of Crestwood, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.
He was born on August 27, 1949 in Louisville to the late Arnold and Louise Franzell Lynch. Don was a 1967 graduate of Butler High School and a 1972 graduate of the University of Louisville with a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering. Don worked for 35 years as a Sales Engineer with Fischer Process Industries out of Loveland, OH. He was a past Chairman for the Louisville Chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Don was a member of Crestwood Christian Church.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Sandy Lynch; daughters, April Zimmerman (Ben) and Charissa Lynch; son, Kenneth Lynch (Emily); step-daughter, Stephanie Apple; step-son, Jeff Apple; sister, Linda Stafford (Steve); nephew, Michael Stafford (Katie); grandchildren, Cadence, Sarina, Clayton, and Micah Zimmerman, Bennett, Norah, and Alex Yusi, Elise and Elliott Lynch, and James Wetzel; and special family friend, Daniel Yusi.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive). The family will also receive friends starting at 10:00 am on Monday, July 17, 2023 at the funeral home until the service time at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West (4400 Dixie Hwy).
