Donald Klein

Donald E. Klein, 77, of Floyds Knobs passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2011. Don retired after 30 years with the Ford Motor Company. He was a member of St. Joseph Hill Catholic Church in Sellersburg and the Knights of Columbus Cardinal Ritter Council #1221. Donald served his country in the National Guard and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend, and neighbor; he will be missed by many.

Donald was born on December 13, 1933 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Edward P. and Edith F. (Baumann) Klein. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy M. Klein.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rosella C. (Andres) Klein; daughters, Debbie Canada and Diane Bush (Bill); sons, Donald L. Klein (Mary) and David Klein (Lori); brother, Virgil Klein (Doris); grandchildren, Deidre, Carrie, Sheryl, Brian, and Paul; and step grandsons, David and Scott.

Visitation will be from 10 AM to 8 PM on Friday, September 16, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM on Saturday, September 17 at St. Joseph Hill Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
