Donald J. Pollard, Sr., 79, of Elizabeth, Indiana passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014. He was born on March 30, 1935 in Louisville to the late Henry and Nellie (Meredith) Pollard. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 63 years, Dolores C. (Welch) Pollard; and 2 grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Donald Pollard, Jr., Gail Pollard, Sandra Drennen, Stephen Pollard, Sr., Ronald Pollard, Sr., Lisa Reed, Michael Pollard, Sr., Melissa Snyder, Gary Pollard, Sr.; Jenna Pollard; sister, Pansy Patton; 19 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and faithful companion, Daisy Mae.

Cremation was chosen following Donald's wishes.
