Donald Hinkle was born to the late Charles E. Hinkle and Addie Mae Hinkle on September 6, 1947 and departed this life on September 5, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Ronald Hinkle.
Donald leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 37 years Penny A. Hinkle; daughter, Rochelle L. Hinkle; step daughter, Cathy(Joe) Soroka; five siblings, Charles A. Hinkle Sr, Garland W. (Lynda) Hinkle Sr., Patricia (James) Bahari, Mary Virginia (Rick) Dobson, and Maxine Inez Thompson; grandson, Jordan L. Richie; step-grandchildren, Joey and Christina Soroka; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and many friends.
Donald was a Vietnam Veteran surviving three years in the US Army. He retired from USPS and started his own lawn and landscaping business in 2006 "to keep busy and active" as he often said. He was a man of God in his heart and showed it in his goodness, and love of life, family, friends, and never met a stranger.
