Donald Ray Gregory, Jr.

Donald Ray "Donnie" Gregory, Jr., 41, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. Donnie was a loving and devoted father and son, and had a deep love for his family. He was an animal lover and loved the beach. Donnie was an avid UK and Green Bay Packers fan. He had a smile that lit up the room, but his spirit filled it. Donnie never met a stranger and enjoyed spending time at concerts and local events. Donnie loved horror films and managed the Facebook page, Horror Maniacs which had 848K followers. He will be deeply missed by all that had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on May 15, 1981 in Louisville, Kentucky to Donald and Kathy (McBay) Gregory. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward & Jessie Gregory; and Billy & Vivian McBay.

Donald is survived by his loving family, son, Shawn Ray; father, Donald Ray Gregory, Sr.; mother, Kathy Louise (McBay) Gregory; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions-Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. His funeral service will be on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery.
