Donald Gene "Donnie" Boeckman Sr., 65, passed away on October 22, 2014. He retired from Bill Collins after 35 years of service and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Donald was born on February 12, 1949 to the late Joseph and Winnie Boeckman. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers.
Donald is survived by his wife of 45 years, Constance Boeckman; children, daughters, Dawn (Eric) Boeckman, Tammy (Bruce) Taylor, Tracy (John) Wimsatt, Donna (Mark) Williams; son, Donald (Jamie)Boeckman, Jr.; 16 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and brother, William Boeckman.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, October 24, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). His funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Constance Boeckman through the Louisville Metro Police Officers Credit Union, 900 West Market Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40202, or 7201 Outer Loop, Room #128, Louisville, Kentucky 40228
