Donald Ray Graf

Donald "Donnie" Ray Graf, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022. Donnie was a loving father and buddy to his son. He was catholic by faith and attended St. Polycarp grade school. Donnie was a graduate from Pleasure Ridge Park High School in 1975 and played several sports during his youth. Donnie attended WKU and was a fraternity brother of Delta Tau Delta. He was a master carpenter and could create anything with wood. Donnie owned his own company, Graf's cabinets, and throughout the years he worked for Underhill Construction, MC Construction and Liken's Cabinets. He was a perfectionist in his skills and trade. Donnie enjoyed playing sports, horseshoes, chess, and guitar. He was an avid UK fan and loved to watch basketball and football. Donnie will be missed by everyone that had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on November 11, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to Robert and Edna (Miles) Graf. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond & Charlotte Miles and Augustus & Mary Graf.

Donnie is survived by his loving family, son, D.J. Graf, ex-wife and best friend, Lura Marquess; siblings, Robert (Barbara) Graf, Nancy (Rusty) RoBear, Norma Gordon, and Connie (Chris) Shofner; 13 nieces and nephews; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Andrew's Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
