Donald Brents Brooks

Donald Brents "Don" Brooks, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023. He was a retired Marine veteran, who proudly served his country. Don's grandchildren meant the world to him and he enjoyed spending time with them. He loved traveling, riding his motorcycle and animals.

He is preceded in death by his son, Donald Brandon Brooks and his parents, Donald and Agnes Mary Brooks.

Donald is survived by his, daughter, Kelly (James) Michele Mercer; granddaughter, Chesney Mercer; grandsons, Colton Mercer and Leland Mercer and his sister, Darlene A. (Randy Gray) Adkins.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY with a celebration of Don's life beginning at 6pm.
