Bramer, Donald, 79, of Crestwood, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, September 20th, 2011. Known for his contagious smile, a great love for his family, community and his Almighty God, he will be missed by more than he will ever know. His proudest accomplishment was landing the love of his life, Dolores Ann Scott, 59 years ago, followed by the birth of two amazing daughters and five sons. A serviceman in the United States Navy, a founding and charter member of the Knights of Columbus - Newman Council, he went on to own his own business for over 40 years. He has left a legacy of 66 descendants including 27 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Dolores, children Donna Fox (Gary), Diana Finewood (Jim), Buddy (Lisa), Denny (Terri), Doug (Amy), Darrell (Susan), Danny (Jeanne) and siblings Betty Schutte, Gordon Bramer and Vicki Bramer. The family would like to give a special thanks to his caregivers - Chad, Kris, April and Ann. Visitation will be Thursday from 12 noon -8 pm and Friday 10-11AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown.
