Donald "Donnie" Borne'

Donald "Donnie" Borne', 69, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. Donnie loved the outdoors and could often be found cutting grass, helping his neighbors or watching Kentucky Basketball. Donnie never met a stranger and would give the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was always known for his infectious smile and ability to brighten every room with his humor. Even at the end Donnie had the nurses laughing telling them he worked at NASA. Donnie loved his family ferociously and will be greatly missed.

He was born on December 29, 1955 in Louisville, Kentucky to Albert and Jean (Guelda) Borne'. He is preceded in death by his Father, Albert Borne', Mother, Jean Guelda, and Brother, Timmy Borne'.

Donnie is survived by his loving Wife of 44 years, Robin Husband Borne'; Children, Jamie (Sean) Wilson and Michael Borne'; Grandchildren, Morgan Wilson, Riley Wilson, Dylan Raisor and Grandpup Cooper; Siblings, Albert (Linda) Borne', Nora Kelly, Libby, Christi (Danny) Hash, Kevin Borne', and Mary Jean Mitteneder, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish his memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 10:30 am on April 4, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky.
