Don Edward Stumler
April 17, 1957 — July 27, 2014
Don Edward Stumler 57, passed away on July 27, 2014 from complications after fighting pancreatic cancer. Don graduated from Eastern High School in 1975, where he participated in soccer, track and football. He attended U of K Y and futhured his studies at UofL.
He was employed for 30 years at Insulated Roofing Contractors serving as Project Superintendent. One of his proudest moments was working on the New Orleans Superdome, after Hurricane Katrina. Don's hobbies included being an avid fisherman, dedicated UK fan and riding his Harley on the back roads of Oldham Country.
He is survived by by his wife Juliet(Hall)Stumler, children Alysha, Nathan, Alexia and Norman. His mother Sher Stumler, brother Dan(Martha), sister Heather Stumler, grandchildren; Madelynn, Lilly, Abigail, Izyabelle Blanton and Ava Stumler along with a host of Aunts,Uncles and cousins in Southern Indiana.
Visitation will be on Friday August 1, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville,KY 40243 from 5-7pm with service to follow at 7pm.
