Dolores Rae Bruner, age 86, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on October 7,2024. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, cherished Grammie; Love You Mostest. A faithful servant of the Lord, she was a devoted member of Glory and Fire Worship Center, where she found community and purpose.
Born on December 29, 1937, in Louisville, Kentucky, Dolores was the daughter of Raymond and Thelma (French) Brock. She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Brock; her mother, Thelma Irene Phillips; and her beloved granddaughter, Lindsey Bruner.
Dolores is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, Kenneth Bruner, Sr.; her son, Kenneth (Johanna) Bruner, Jr.; her sister, Verna Spalding; as well as her granddaughter, April (Alex) Reese; and her great-grandchildren, Joseph, Eve, and Caleb Reese. She is also survived by a wide circle of extended family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Glory and Fire Worship Center, located at 8804 National Turnpike. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the same location, followed by burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
