SMITH, Diane Sue 72, passed away December 15. She was vice president of the family business. She was preceded in death by her parents Daniel R. Cook Sr. and Myrtle Mellert Cook and a son Brett A. Smith.

She is survived by her loving husband Charles D. Smith, and children Charles D. Smith II (Melissa), Steven R. Smith (Marlene), Terri A. Gore (Billy), Tammy L. Smith (Kathy), Jacklyn S. Foley (Glenn deceased), Mitzi E Reese (Barry) and Kimberly D. Morganett (Roger). Brothers, Daniel R. Cook, Jr. (Pam) and John E. Cook (Betty). Grandchildren, Brooke Bryant, Amanda Rooney, Charles Smith, III, Charley Abbott, Cameron Owen, Stephanie Smith, Derek Smith, Olivia Morganett and many great-grandchildren, nieces and cousins.Also Lifelong friends – Jerry Joan Osborne-Cobern and Terry "T" Smith.

The family has chosen a private personal visit with a memorial service and burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The family would also like to thank her compassionate care givers of VNA Nazareth Home Care and the always available Dr. Harry Renco and Hosparus of Louisville.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Eastern High School Choir, Disabled American Veterans or Hosparus of Louisville.
