Diane Platt, née Fisher, passed away on March 20th after a brief illness. She was 79 years old. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Platt and her parents, Dorothy Rupp and Walter Morris Fisher. She grew up on her grandparents Glenview Farm in Louisville.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Melissa) Platt, Jonathan Platt (Heidi Hoover) and Phoebe Simon (Christian); grandchildren, Samuel Canyn Platt, Stella Elisabeth Platt, Oliver Michael Simon, and Perry Louise Simon; and sister, Dorothy Fisher Weed (Perry).
Diane was a gracious hostess and avid collector of art, curiosities and antiques, with an extraordinary eye for presentation and arrangement. She was an inspiration to her children, grandchildren, and many friends.
Her vocations included teaching children at Chance School and interior design at Park Gallery and Scott Tischner Design.
A memorial service will be held at a future date.
