Diane Carol Goode

Diane Carol(Johnson) Goode age 52, was called home after a long illness to her Heavenly Father on August 16, 2014. She was born in Louisville,KY, where she attended Butler High School and played as the starting forward for the Bearettes. Diane also played basketball for Eastern Kentucky University where she was known as "JumpShot Johnson". Shortly thereafter she moved to Cincinnati, where she married and started her family.

She is survived by her daughter Latosha(Goode)Levi, son Jack Goode Jr.(JJ), step daughters; Cecily Goode and Jacquetta(Goode)Greenlea. Parents: Florence Patterson and the late George Johnson, four grandchildren; Ahviel Levi, Yahkin Levi, Zahvdi Levi and Jazae Goode, along with nine biological siblings and six step siblings. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and dear friends including her uncle William Woodson(Priscillia) and Theresa Maddox.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the family in care of Latosha Levi.

Visitation will be on Thursday August 21, 2014 from 6-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville,KY 40243. Service will be Friday August 22, 2014 at 11AM at Hunsinger Baptist Church, 3400 Summerville Drive, Louisville,KY 40220 with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
