Diana Marie Inman of Louisville, Kentucky passed away in her home on Wednesday April 10, 2024, with her beloved sister by her side. She was the first of three children born to her parents, the late Doris M. Scherer (Inman) and Lester W. Inman, Sr. She was a graduate of Shawnee High School in Louisville, class 1965. She worked as a receptionist for various professionals until she retired.
Diana's passions were dancing, bowling, sports cars (especially Corvettes)taking motorcycle rides, animals and her beautiful nieces. Starting as a child she danced, tap, ballet and En Point for Patsy Bloor Dance Studio. She danced into her teens and adult life. She loved bowling and was very good at it.
To know Diana was to love Diana. She was well known for her million dollar smile, wonderful laugh and magnetic personality. She was the life of the party at social gatherings. Everyone loved her kind heart, positive attitude and ability only to see good in everyone. She truly loved people and gave compliments galore.
Diana is survived by her sister, Brenda Inman Daniels whom she cherished and Brenda cherished her as well; four nieces who adored their Aunt Diana, Leslee Inman Hart, Elise Poeana (Daniel), Sarah Ham (Tyler) and Anna Grace Inman; half nieces and nephew, Stacy Mill (Andy), LeeAnn Wilson (Tim) and Buck McCarthy (Tammie); her two pets, Benny and Jett; and a host of family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
Diana will join her parents, Doris and Lester; brother, Lester W. Inman Jr.; niece Kelly Ann Niketti McKinney in heaven along with her many pets.
Visitation will be Friday, April 19, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243 from 2pm to 7pm, and also on Saturday, April 20th from 9:30am to 11:00 am. A celebration of Diana's life will be 11am Saturday at the funeral home, with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Kentucky Humane Society.
Diana's service will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time.
