Diana Cheek Holloway, 68, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022.
She was born February 5, 1954 in New Castle, IN to the late Vernon and Lucille Cheek. Diana was a graduate of Tates Creek High School in Lexington, KY, class of 1971. She was a Systems Analyst for Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Anthem, and Humana in both Lexington and Louisville. Her work also gave her the opportunity to work in Hawaii. Diana was an avid gardener and was also an animal lover.
She is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Daniel Newberg.
Diana is survived by her husband of over 30 years, Christopher Holloway; sons, Chris Marvin (Erin) and Erik Marvin (Sara); daughter, Samantha Holloway (Daniel); grandchildren, Abby, Ben, Jasmine, Emma, Jeffrey, Claire, and Jordan; sister, Linda Newberg; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Henry and Mary Holloway; and sister-in-law; Terri Sautel (Steve) and nieces; Kate and Sarah.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 27th, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive). A service to celebrate Diana's life will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with private burial in Lexington Cemetery.
