Diana Hickman

Diana (Dougherty) Hickman passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on October 12,1956 to the late Mr. Raymond C. and Clara Lenora Harris. She was a wonderful mother, wife, sister and just an overall blessing to her family and friends. Diana dedicated her life to caregiving by profession. She also enjoyed crafting, baking, sewing just creating things that made you smile.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years Charles F. Hickman Jr.

To this union was born three sons, William Dougherty (Stevie), Deshon Hickman (Tera) and Charles T. Hickman (Heather).

Diana was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Michael Dougherty, Charles "Chucky" Dougherty and sister, Sheralray Morris.

Diana leaves to cherish her memory her husband Charles F. Hickman, Jr., her children William, Deshon and Charles T. Her siblings Raymond Dougherty, Kenny Dougherty and Lynda Dougherty. She also had 19 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will treasure her memory forever.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 4 to 8 P.M. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive). Her funeral will be held the next day at 11 A.M. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville.
