Desiree Faith Witt, a bright and beautiful soul from Leitchfield, Kentucky, departed this world on Friday, October 25, 2024, at the tender age of 13.
Born on November 20, 2010, in Lexington, Kentucky, Desiree’s life, though brief, was filled with love and joy. She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Patricia Witt, and her siblings: Steve (Karen) Witt, Pam (Michael) Basham, Kristie Witt, Donna Witt, Ashley Witt, Ben Witt, and her cherished twin sister, Destiny Witt. Desiree is now reunited with her father, Alvin Witt, and her siblings, Ricky and Jennifer Witt, who preceded her in death.
Desiree had an infectious spirit that endeared her to everyone. With a passion for old country music and a heart full of kindness, she lit up every room she entered. Her warm smile and loving personality made her a beloved friend to many, and her teachers in the Edmondson County School System held her dear in their hearts.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Desiree's beautiful life during visitation from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Monday, November 4th, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). A heartfelt service honoring her life will take place at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 5th, followed by her burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
In memory of Desiree, the family kindly requests contributions to the Home of the Innocents, a cause that reflects her kind heart.
