Dennis Thomas, 69, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
He was born on August 12, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Hallie Edward and Lois (McGrew) Thomas. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Charles Thomas and sister, Linda T. Strevels.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Catherine D. Thomas, children, Edward T. Thomas (Jennifer), Kelly J. Webb (Matt), Sean Ryan (Amanda), brother, William Thomas (Marie) and eleven grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Tristan, Brayden, Elijah, Isaac, Aiden, Allie, Gabby, Elizabeth, Jackson and Elisha.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 4:00 pm with visitation resuming until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243). He will be laid to rest privately at Floydsburg Cemetery in Crestwood, KY.
The family requests that contributions in Dennis's memory be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
