Dennis Michael Wempe Jr.

Dennis Michael Wempe, Jr., beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend, age 41, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2012. He was a Criminal Justice student at Sullivan University and had a deep love for Jesus Christ. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Michael Wempe, Sr. and grandparents, Bill Horne, Belle Casillas and Kenneth Wempe, Sr.

Dennis is survived by his mother, Gail Horne Boyer; siblings, Neisja Wempe Crawford (Zac), Jason Matthew Wempe (Jennifer), Heather Elizabeth Wempe and Thorin Wade Boyer; paternal grandmother, Viola Keeling; nieces and nephews, Austin Smith, Dakota Higgs, Elowen Crawford, Leah Boyer and Isaac Wempe; aunts and uncles, Bart Horne, Wes Horne, Lance Horne, Kenneth Wempe, Jr., Greg Wempe, James Wempe, Bridget Wempe, Vickie James, Debbie Boyles, Connie Abner, Courtney Keeling and Mark Keeling. Dennis is also survived by a host of cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00 PM on Saturday, August, 18, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Dr. Louisville, KY 40243) with a memorial service immediately following.
