Dennis Anthony McDonald, age 82 of Louisville, passed away on November 15, 2023.
Dennis was born on September 9, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky to Dennis and Mildred (Muench) McDonald. Loving husband of the late Jill (Newman) McDonald.
Loving father of Jennie (Bill) Cook, Dennis J. McDonald, James Leonard McDonald, Kelly Jo (Robert) Jacobs, and the late Tracy Newman. Grandfather of Dana (Jaimie) McDonald, Dustin (Lacey) McDonald, Jessica Humphrey, Kaitlyn Jacobs, Jenna Jacobs, Brianna Sherman and 7 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Patti (Larry) Mattingly and the late Mary Ann Krebs. Also survived by Peggy (Smith) Bonnet, mother of his four children and Kerri (Larry) Rafferty, his loving caregiver of over 5 years.
Dennis retired as Comptroller and Treasurer for Marcus Paint Company after 43 years. He loved golfing, boating, hunting and carpentry.
Visitation for Dennis will be 11:00am-1:00pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville KY 40243) on Tuesday, November 21, followed by a graveside service at Calvary Cemetery (1600 Newburg Road, Louisville KY 40205).
