Dennis Wayne Lynn, Sr.

Dennis Wayne Lynn, Sr., 64, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024. He retired from BL Curry & Sons, then went on to finish out his career working at Smokey's Discount Tobacco Outlet. Dennis also worked events for over 30 years at the Sportsdrome Speedway in Clarksville, where he became known as the "Beer Man." Outside of work, Dennis loved each of his grandkids and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was born on March 9, 1960 in New Albany to Edward, Sr. and Thelma (Hoffman) Lynn. Along with his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, Janet (Tankersley) Lynn; and brother, Edward Lynn, Jr.

Dennis is survived by his children, Dennis Lynn, Jr. (Leann), Dwayne Lynn, Denise Clark (Jonathan); grandchildren, Kaitlyn Garcia (Noel), Jenna Lynn, Jordan, Jaxson and Bristal Clark; sisters, Deborah Lake (Joe), Anna Faulkenburg (Steve), Paula Risner; and many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his funeral service taking place at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Borden, Indiana.
