Dennis Paul Coates, 71, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023.
He was born on May 1, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Charles and Ella (Mills) Coates. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Emma Rose (Greenwell) Coates and sister Deborah Starr Barrett.
Paul was the owner of Pauls Cycle Supply Inc since 1989.
Paul is survived by his brothers, James "Tony" Anthony Coates (Rosemary), Wayne Edward Coates (Linda), Michael Eugene Coates (Kim) and host of nieces and nephew.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions East Louisville Chapel, (235 Juneau Drive Louisville KY 40243).
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am on Monday, July 3, 2023 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery (4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213).
The family requests that contributions in Paul's memory be made to The American Diabetes Association.
