Dennis Carney

Dennis Eugene Carney "De-Bo", 63, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021. De-Bo accepted Christ again at an older age at St. Stephen Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Kevin W. Cosby, and was a member of the Usher Board. De-Bo loved working with his hands and helping other people. He worked at AAK and as a caregiver for Personnel Best LLC. De-Bo enjoyed playing chess, dominos, cards, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

He was born on September 4, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to Danny Mitchell and Anna Pearl Carney. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Sister, Lutricia Crowder, and Brother, William Morton.

De-Bo is survived by his loving Companion of 24 years, Noredda Potts, Daughter, Erica (Cory) Carson, Sisters, Pearletta Morris, Gale Carney, and Silver (Robert) Bryant, Brother, Anthony "Tony" (Darlene) Morton, Grandchildren, LaKori Carson, Kaylin Carson, Karlie Carson, Genesis Pope, Gaebriel Pope, MaKiyah Jones, and Tyree Pope, Step-Daughter, La'Chic Jones, Step-Son, Perry Jones, Brother-In-Law whom he cared for, Ben Jones, and a Honorary Uncle Jesse Carney. De-Bo also leaves behind to cherish his memory Two Aunts, Four Nieces, Six Nephews, and a host of Great-Nieces, Great-Nephews, Friends, Cousins, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
