Dennis James Borden

Dennis James "DJ" Borden, 55, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, in New Albany, Indiana. DJ enjoyed spending time at Patoka Lake and loved being at the ocean. His true passion was music, and he had been a DJ for many years.

DJ was born on October 24, 1962, in New Albany, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Tina Borden.

DJ is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Gina (Fabel) Borden; children, Kristin Bary (Jeremy) and Raymond Borden (Claire); parents, William and Edna (Hamblin) Borden; brothers, Rickey Borden, Ronnie Borden, Larry Borden (Susan) and Jeff Borden (Allison); sister, Linda Elliott (Sammy); grandchildren, Coty, Caley, Cole, Macy, Madden, Emery, Penelope and Avery; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Raymond and Judy Fabel; and brothers-in-law, Joe and Todd Fabel.

A Memorial Gathering will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). His Celebration of Life will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen following DJ's wishes.
