Delories Lynn Smith

Delories Lynn Smith, aged 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on February 7, 2025. Delories was a cherished mother, sister, friend, and beloved Gigi to her grandchildren. Her passion for ballet dancing, her exceptional ability to connect with children, and her talent in the kitchen were just a few aspects that defined her vibrant spirit. Above all, Delories treasured the moments spent with her family, continually creating lasting memories that will be fondly remembered.

She was born on April 6, 1959, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Henry and Dorothy Moore. Delories was preceded in death by her parents; son, Andre Smith; sister, Beverly Elfalan; and brother, Valeriano Elfalan.

Delories is survived by her devoted partner, Adrian Keith Smith, Sr.; her son, Adrian (Brittney) Smith, Jr.; daughter, Charmaine Smith; and her adored grandchildren, Dalys Smith, Terrance Smith, Adrian Smith, III, Adrienna Smith, JaVion Tolliver, CamRon Weathers, Haven Smith, and TaNyia Weathers. She is also survived by her sister, Rosalind (Jerry) Frazier; brother, Alzonia "Dennis" (Sheryl) Moore; her special friend, Vicki "Aunt Cookie" Carter; and a multitude of extended family and friends who will hold her memory close to their hearts.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, located at 10304 Dixie Highway.

In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Delories may be made to Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, to assist with final expenses.
